Hi Ethan,

Welcome to the forums!

My go-to bush knife has always been a BK10 Crewman; it's a great balance between small knife utility, portability, and small hatchet chopping power (it out-chops my GB mini). Will this model return to the Becker line?

I hope so. I have a friend leaving for Afghanistan on 02JAN08. It would make a nice "care package" for him.

i always thought the crewman was a slimmed down version of the cAmpanion (not cOmpanion ;>)... that would be a superb choice at this time. next on my list too.

Hey Guys....

The BK10 CREWMAN was designed as a replacement for the old Pilot Survival Knife....I always felt that the Pilot Survival was lacking in fieldcraft utility and so I designed a compact blade with a relatively thin (ie. LIGHT) blade that would be a better slicer and bushcrafter and still be sturdy enough to do the other stuff required, bashing and digging, batonning and light chopping, etc....... Bladite is right about the size envelope I had in mind....The CAMPANION is almost exactly the same size.....This blade is also in the mix for discussion at SHOT Show......

All Best....

#3 - I Agree. The BK10 is awesome. I snatched one up at the local Army-Navy store for $65 about a year ago...boy am I glad I did. Definitely one of my favorites. When they come back out, I may just have to get another...just for comparison:D
