BK10 en route - Thanks guys!

I hadn't really thought about getting a knife until my friend sent me a shot of his newly purchased Gerber LMF II. It got me thinking about EDC and camping/utility knives. I purchased a Griptilian folder first mostly because I couldn't decide on which Becker to buy. Anyway, long story short, after much deliberation and a great deal of reading (particularly on this forum), I decided on the BK10.

I couldn't believe how much discussion, in depth review and insightful information was available here. Even without holding it in my hands (it arrives next week), I feel like I have an excellent sense of what to expect and how it will perform, largely due to this forum. For that, thank you very much!
 
Welcome and congrats! The 10 will be a great Knife and a great first Becker for you.

Only question you should be asking yourself........... is what Becker do I get next?

Welcome! Congrats on the 10. I don't have one (yet) but sure love his big brother, the BK2. Don't forget to post pics when it comes in!
 
Thanks fellas... the BK2 was definitely on the list (I love the blade profile, just felt it was a little too thick) and I was tempted to grab a Ritter mk2, but shipping north of the border would have made it cost about double the 10. I was thinking a BK13 or 14 would round out my starting collection nicely and give me the opportunity to try out some paracord wrapping. Pics will be shared!

When you do get it in your hands, you will see what all this "fuss" is about. They are truly quality pieces of steel and art!

Welcome to the insanity. Good for you on not choosing the LMF, the 10 is way superior.
 
I just received my BK-10. It is a great knife. I have it mounted on my rig and hopefully will be trying it out weekend after Easter!

Welcome and congrats, I have yet to hold a 10 in my hand but as I find the 2 kinda heavy for me, 10 seem like a better choice for me. Remember to share photo of it put to good use!!

I was blown away when I got my first Becker this summer. I never felt a handle feel so comfortable! I have let dozens hold my bk2 & it doesn't seem to matter if there hands are small or large they all love it. And as others have said, as soon as you get it you will be ready for another:they are addicting!! Enjoy
