BK10 factory sheath and aftermarket handles?

I FINALLY ordered a Crewman Thursday :thumbup: (I know, I know, but in my defense ive been picking up some nice folders, ESEE fixed blades and some more Fallknivens as well), and i'm curious... if I order a pair of TKC's G10 for it, will the factory sheath still work or will I need to have an aftermarket sheath made for it? after what ive spent the past 3 months the wife has put a squash to my knife buying for a while, so I have plans to tinker around with the 10 until she cools off. :D
 
I only ask because a few years back I bought a Skystorm sheath for my BK2 that I had put Tomars micarta on and the knife was quite loose in the sheath, but after I put the factory handles back on it, it held the knife tight.
 
You could always get a BK22 sheath. Same as the 10's but for the thicker BK2. I think they're only like $20.
 
After a bit of stretching the snaps while they were wet, I got the factory sheath to snap even with the liners in place. Still getting kydex, but the factory sheath is great.
 
quick update...I had an extra set of the micarta handles from tomars so I went ahead and put them on my new 10 and im one happy camper. I don't have as many Beckers as some of you on here, but Ive had them for 10+ years (my oldest is a Camillus made BK2) and I definitely think the 10 is gonna be my favorite of the bunch.
