Just got this made by the maker skystorm and i gotta say im blown away, and i havent even gotten it yet. just jumping the gun a little bit since im so psyched....more pics to follow when it gets here....now my LE bk10 has some amazing pants

Nice sheath, I like that a lot.

I've been eyeing his sheaths, thinking about one for the 9 when I eventually get one.
 
I coulda swore I saw something like that this morning...J/K, hope you like it.
That style, along with the 7 and 9 have dual retention with the thumb ramp and the keeper. Some people like just the thumb ramp retention and cut the keeper off. lol Don't do that, send it to me and I will do a clean job for you.
 
I like that basket weave pattern he uses, you use, there you are. What part of the pacific northwest?
 
That's a great looking sheath. I'm seriously considering sheaths from Skystorm for my BK2 and BK7..

Thanks, Skystorm came from people always combining my first and last name. 3 syllables seems to be too much work for people.
 
Very nice! What type of leather is used to make these? Can we get pics of the back?

Very classy sheath, I'd be afraid of ruining it.

It seems us Beckerheads have alot of choices for awesome sheaths to go with our hard working knives.

I dunno if skystorm has pics of the back but ill edit and update with al sorts of pics once it gets here. And the really the price is right so Im not worried at all about ruining it. It's not like a hedgehog or anything crazy priced like that. Its gonna share belt time with my Azwelke kydex. Ill actually carry both in my bag so give em equal tine. since I edc the bk10 in a hidden compartment in my maxped monsoon. I'm paranoid like that.
 
I thought for certain you'd be holding a 10 and wearing a pair of these...

Good retention, both with the strap and the way the sheath covers the thumb ramp and holds it

My biggest fear with leather drop legs is the heighth, some sit to low and become almost danglers and knock my knee, some ride too high and stab me in the spare tire....this one rides just right.. (mirror shot, its actually a right handed sheath)
