BK10 or another BK16?

A few months back I bought a BK16 and it immediately became my favorite knife. I love the weight, size, balance, and while my sheath had a problem with a snap even that was decent. It's so beloved that I was about to buy another, but then I saw the BK10.

Is the shape the same as the BK16? Are there any advantages of it over the 16? How is the sheath?

They're two totally different beasts. The 10 is a "full size" and the 16 is a "tweener".

They have different handles, the 10's sheath has a strap to hold it in, the 16's sheath snaps in, the 10 has a clip point, the 16 has a drop point. They're not actually very comparable, but that being said, since you already have a 16, I would get a 10 and a (if you prefer a sheath that snaps the knife in) kydex sheath made by Dex (coyleoutdoors.com).

If you like the 16 but want a finer tip for smaller work, check out the 17, too.

I know they have a lot of differences, but I was looking at them both as mid sized 4.5 and 5.5 inch bushcrafting blades, perhaps incorrectly. Again, I've never held a BK10 and could be wrong, but it seems like a thinner BK2 with a modified clip point. So, while obviously not apples to apples they are both probably light enough to carry without a lot of strain. If the BK10 adds a lot of useful elements I'm more than open to expanding my BK line instead of just buying another one of my favorites. I can't get one in my hands before buying one, so I thought I'd ask.

Oh, when I asked about the grip it wasn't the size, but shape I was asking about where the BK16 is thicker in the middle and thinner on the ends. Some pictures I saw tonight made it appear as if the 10 had that as well.

The 10 is comparable in size to the 2...but with thinner blade stock, as you mentioned.
I don't have a 10 to show you - but here is a pic of a BK2 with a BK16 (the size difference is bigger than it looks on paper)

As far as your question about handle shape - the same, just a different size

Personally, the BK10 never appealed to me...whereas I love the BK16. If you have to ask which you should get, it seems you aren't sold on the 10 - double up on the 16. You can make a few mods on one so you don't have two of the same knife (if that is a problem for you). If you are into the BK10, by all means, go for it. If you just think you want something bigger - but not King size - hold out for the BK12 (they're currently out of stock - but will hopefully be available before too long).

Now that I've plugged the 12, I can mention the BK15. 5.5 inch trailing point blade, with the same handle as the BK16. This is another one worth doubling up on, and you'll love it for food prep (though it isn't limited to that arena). For comparison:
