Hello Sir,
I would seriously like to see new BK10s being made. I think it's a well balanced survival knife. Am I the only one looking for one ?

No, you are not alone. A friend has one and I have grown found of the BK10 and would also like to see new ones produced.

Here's another vote for the BK-10. I was just about to get one when all the fun with Camillus started. One of the things I liked about it was the blade thickness was 1/8" if I remember right. I prefer a thinner blade to what the BK-2 has.

Hey Guys....

I can only say there is some active discussion going on about the CREWMAN...

All Best...

After a lot of use, I gave mine away to my nephew. No regrets but I miss it. I would like to get a new one.

I have a Camillus BK7 and BK9.
Sold my BK11 (Necker), BK2 (Campanion), and BK10 (Crewman).

I'd love to have the Crewman available again - a really stout, tough knife with a blade size that's just right for a whole slew of applications.

Ethan, if you're reading this - you can put me on the short list to buy one!

I think find the Crewman to be my favorite of the Beckers I have owned and used. They are light enough to carry on your belt, stout enough to chop and batton and thin enough to still get some food prep accomplished.

What are specs of the old one?

I believe it's about the same size as the BK2 Companion. IIRC, the blade's 5.5" & OAL is about 10.5". However, the BK10 is .188" thick compared to the BK2's 1/4". Also, the BK10 has a nice thumb-ramp & a "hammering" pommel.

I currently have a BK9 & BK11 & had a BK2, but traded it. If it was a BK10, I'd still have it.

I'm another one who'd pick one up as soon they're available.

Jeez, Mitch. Are you that hard up to read the Forum that you have to go back to Feb., 2009? :D

I think it's funny that we're here 3+ years later and don't know any more than we did back then!
