Have these ever turned up?

I purchased two BK14’s recently— one from and one from

First of all the model came with a sleeve that says BK11. I don’t think I’ve seen a new BK11 or BK14 come with labeled paper sleeves.

The etching on the BK14 is not as bold as the one from.

The coating on the model has a bit of a sheen to it where the one from is more flat. This is hard to capture.

These are probably just rolling changes to the knives and were likely made in different batches. Just curious if anyone has any input.

Haven’t heard of any that look as real as yours do  I think you’re good to go :) The fake Becker’s that I’ve seen have been easy to spot. The 11 came first so the sleeves that have bk11 on em we’re probably used for both till supply’s ran out and most likely aren’t even marked anymore is my guess :)

I removed the store names, as neither pays for the right to sell here. I realize you were not spamming, just wanted to know if they were legit or not. That said, they look legit to me, but I will let KA-BAR know. Thanks for the heads up.

Why ask on the esee forum about a Becker knife?

Yes, these look legit. The item number is fairly common on the sleeves of our products, though they aren't always the same as the actual product number as they fit a large number of products. Without seeing these in person it is hard to say 100%, but I am fairly confident these are the real deal. One of the places you purchased from buys directly from us and I have not heard of them ever selling a counterfeit and the other purchases from many of the distributors we do business with, though we don't sell to them directly and a knock off has been known to slip through the cracks of the big river.
