Bk11 full coverage scales

cool man, would love to see what you come up with. I am looking for a full handle to cover the bottle cap opener and give a bit of a fuler overall grip to the knife
 
I'm going to make a set for my BK11 when I get some time. Planning on extending them about 3/8" beyond the rear of the knife. I want a perch for my 4th finger. I'll loose the bottle cap opener, but in all actuality, if I find myself stranded in the Amazon jungle with nothing but my BK11, I'm not gonna have much use for a bottle opener.
 
Why not get a bk14 then? No bottle opener, longer handle and plenty of scale options.
 
Actually getting both. I like the handle shape of the 11 more than the 14/24. I just think it looks cooler, but I also want to try out the D2. Also wanted to make my own scales. Give it a bit of a custom look.

How about these? I wanted the same thing so I used some 3/16 micarta rod with black canvas micarta to make these. So far, really happy with them.

Hey Tommy, are your scales flat on the underside? I'd really like to see the tang side.
