Hey all, anyone know where i can get some micarta handles for my in bound BK11? I have found some on http://tomarskabars.com/BK-11HNDL_INFO.html

But the handles shipped to Australia are just under $70AU.........double the price of the knife itself!! Now i'm not a tight ass but i am wondering if this is a good price or if there is another site where i can get the handles from?

When I look at tomars I see them as $10 less than the 11, is that price with shipping?

I *think* a rain forest in south america might have free shipping on them.

Hey mate, you can make your own you know, some green micarta only costs like 5 bucks.

Saintcutlery on the bay. Mike is a really great guy and has helped me with scales for my 14 to be sent to Europe.

I recommend these

Or you could make your own micarta too, all you need is an old torn up pair of pants (I used jeans) resin, wood (to distribute the weight evenly) and clamps (to provide pressure so that the resin will cure properly). After that, a well stocked Dremel tool and some hardware are needed.
