BK11 mock orange scales

I bought this BK11 a while back, stripped the paint and cold blued it. I had some mock orange wood laying around the shop and made some scales. They're not perfect but they're mine!

Nice work! I have always wanted to try a set of scales for the full size Beckers, but I don't think I have the skills to get the ergonomics right. Maybe I will have to get an 11 or a 14 and do a trial set. It seems like the ergos would be a little easier for those, and a good excuse to buy a necker!

birchwood casey perma blue is what I used on my khukuri. It started out a dark, matte black and wore really nicely into a more greyish, transparent "gun metal" with use.
