OK, so my bk11 has gotten through some changes along the way. Most of it due to the fact that I have been experimenting with new woods and handles, so I have also improoved, or upgraded my blades.
<it started having just a TEak wood Handle, round handle to be precise...
after a while i also worked on it a bit more and stripped the blade puting a mirrow finish on it.
however I know grew tired of the teak wood scales and decided it was time to put a tuxedo on my bk11
so I give you the new and improved bk11, with a Patina and Curly birch handle, with a leather sheath
I got the curly birch from finland still got some work to do on it however it is getting there, the pins are Corby aluminium rivets.
now the handle is a full hand one, very confortable one I might add.
the wood is excellent. The filling in the back of the handle I did it with the wood itself.
With the rivets it is not going anywhere.
hope you like it
