Hi, I'm looking for a cheaper priced fixed blade knife. Spec. for outdoor stuff...
My price range is under $40 preferably. I was looking and I really like both these knives. WHich one would you recommend out of these two, or just in general? USA made are what I'm looking for...

I've handled both and I think the 14 has better ergonomics from the Izula handle. The 11 is nice with the bottle opener, but the handle just doesn't mesh well for small-medium hands. And for really hard use I find it to be a little too thin even with the scale attachments

Oh, ok! Thanks for the input! My cousin just got the Izula... but I'm not wanting to spend quite that much.

i have the 11 and its awesome, grip feels fine for me (i have skinny hands) and the bottle opener is an added bonus. i will say this though, the next necker i get is going to be the 14

14 feels better IMO

Hmmm okay.... I might go with whichever ones cheaper then. I kind of like how the 11 looks, but I wouldn't mind the 14 either:)

Wow, that does look nice! I just don't want to baton with my zt 0350 haha! Which is funny because I was looking for a sturdy knife that would be able to handle it... but being on this forum has increased my desire for "something more" haha

With handles the 11 is not bad but the 14 has better ethos for sure. I picked up a used 14 for $25 and some wood scales for $20.

The Izula is well worth the money. The Izula is probably one of my favorite small knives. But between the BK-11 and BK-14, I have both and love them both, but I'd go for the 14 unless you have tiny hands or need a bottle opener.

Yeah the 14 has a longer handle, but if you have skinnier fingers like I do the 11 is fine. It's much more comfortable than stock with just a paracord wrap, and micarta scales make it even more comfortable than that. Also, for a smaller knife like that a 3 finger grip isn't too bad if you have larger hands. The bottle opener is great, but either knife will serve you well.
