I've read a couple threads where users are simply threading some paracord through the BK11 sheath instead of spending the bucks on a Tek Lok. Since it didn't seem to hard here is my version.

Am I missing something? I plan to just cut off the ends, a little drop of glue on the knot and some flame to keep it from fraying in the second picture.

Thanks for any ideas.

Looks like you got it. Plus, if you want to change, paracord is cheap. I like it. Moose

I made a custom sheath for mine because i added scales but i have had it like that for months and i carry it everyday. Cord is kinda starting to fray but like moose said, its a cheap repair.

Here's my version... All you need to do it is 2 short pieces of paracord and a lighter (although I use a torch)... I just heat the ends until I get the right size molten ball of nylon and then let it cool/harden... Do this 4 times and you're done. It works best if you use the smaller holes in the sheath. The belt in the photos is 1.5 inches wide.

Enjoyed this thread...used para-cord today like shown in the pics. Carried it all day with no trouble at all. Very useful, thanks!

Hey Sak

Where did you end up carrying it? Small of the back, side, front? Just curious as I'm still experimenting

I carry it in front...about 1 o'clock. Makes for very fast draw.

Just a t-shirt covers it great and no loss of comfort while sitting or anything else.
