I received my Becker Necker a few weeks back but didn't want to write a review until I had a chance to actually use it for a while. The knife came shaving sharp with plenty of cord for a neck knife. I actually wear mine across my chest with the knife hanging under my left shoulder. The sheath holds the knife securely and with my vest over it, it doesn't swing or move around too much.
So far it's been my companion in the field for work, one camping trip, and a few hunts. It's light and handy to have around. Does all the light jobs like cutting rope and webbing material with ease and makes a handy camp knife for food prep. I've used it to clean two pigs so far and the blade holds it's edge well. I did touch it up after the second pig and it sharpened up real easy. I haven't beat it up yet but for the jobs I've used it for it's been great. I've been impressed with it's performance especially for the price I paid (~$35). Because it's not stainless I make sure to clean it up after use and apply some oil to the edge and so far no problems. I may do a cord wrap on the handle as it's a little small for me but other than that I'm a satisfied customer.
