I really would like a set that extends just past the bottle opener, hiding it is ok.

We have some (ham... Pun intended lol) handed members here for sure. I remember somebody doing something with TKC scales but I can't find it with the forum search. BTW welcome to the forum Semper Fi. And Thank You for your Service and going in first clearing the way for us Army Tankers

To quote a few older threads on the subject:
TKC makes an Izula scale which is easy to modify to fit over the BK14/BK24.
But I think the only oversize BK11 scales, which cover up the bottle opener, have been DIY projects.
Someone modded a set of tweener scales for his 11. Should be easy enough to cut a little long and trim to match - depending on your skill level and available tools.
