This is the third set i have made for this knife. First set was maple, second micarta. This is jade g10. This is by far my fav set. They are not quite done but i thought done enough to show you all. I used epoxy to keep them on. i dont really want to screw into them, i like the solid look so i hope it holds.

I was going to follow the contours of the knife but when i got to the shape they are , they were really comfortable and fit my hand nice so i kept that . I just need to find something to fill them in.

They were 1/8 slabs and i worked them down with a dremel and hand sanding. Hope you like em .

those are sweet. do you have pics or a link to your maple scales? ive wanted wood scales on mine. do you have other angles of this one?

Thanks clichtenwalner1 .

I will look for pics for my maple but i think i lost all of them when my last last HD went down. I dont think i had backups :( I will try to get dif angles up when its all done. Im not really good at taking pics or remembering to take pics lol.

Also any ideas on what to fill them with to make it flush would be appreciated. I was thinking of just using epoxy again.

they need backlighting :) or a tritium insert :>

very nice...

You and this tritium insert idea. :) I've been with you on it the whole time. It's a great idea and I'm just waiting on it to happen.

OT, nice job. They almost look "overmolded", and that's great for people with larger hands. I think with a small knife, the epoxy should hold up because people won't be doing harder chores with more torque on the grip, but I could be wrong. I really need to buy me a dremel to get into some craftsmanship like this. Great job, man.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. It feels like a totally different knife. tritium insert Sounds like a great idea.

And i guess if the epoxy doesnt hold i can still put some pins in or something. I used pretty strong stuff though.

Thanks again.
