Will tek loks work on a stock 11 sheath? I want to get more use out if my 11. Id love to carry it edc but don't care for it around my neck all the time. However it is my go to knife while duck and goose hunting. It's much easier to get to access in waiders when its around my neck.

I am not sure about a Tek Lok but Ka-bar makes the TDI clip that mounts directly to the BK-11 sheath that works well. Or get another sheath for belt carry and save the stock sheath for hunting.

I really like my Coyle Outdoors scout sheath for my 11.

No they will not, unless you make some sort of mounting plate or drill a hole.

Ive also got the TDi clip - its great, something you should consider. I always enjoy seeing that sheath Dresnor. Very nice indeed.

I love it. Because of that sheath and it's ability to carry my BK-11 I have stopped carrying folders, besides at work because it is simply against the rules. It holds the knife so well I am not afraid of loosing it at all.

I feel very fortunate to have it.

Put the TekLok where you want it. Mark it and drill 2 holes. Easy way to use it with the factory sheath. Pictures below.

But I agree with dresnor. If you really want more use from your 11 get a custom sheath. It makes a big difference. You will like it so much more. My factory ones all got loose over time as that little nub wears out.

Here is a Azwelke Kydex sheath with a TekLok mounted.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll go with the TDi for now and research a custom sheath.

Contact Matt at Armatus Carry Solutions or goto his site and order one for the BK11. He's a great guy, excellent quality and fair price. Azwelke is good but give this guy a chance first. He's just as good if not better and he's a HS teacher! Ordered a couple from him and they are top notch.

He also has excellent customer service and sells tek locks for his sheaths on the site. The factory sheath is known to dull the knife.

I've never had issues with the stock Becker sheaths dulling a knife.
But then again I don't drag the edge on the sheath when I draw my knife.
Seems like just about any sheath would dull a knife when that happens....

I'm gonna catch heat for this, but my best kydex sheaths have come from Godspeed Tactical. I love my Azwelke for my 11, don't get me wrong, just from Eli was a half step above. I have NO qualms about ordering from Al though.

You hear a lot about that old chestnut of BK2 sheaths dulling knives too, but that was on older models and believe it was also down to glass content in mix. I've never have a problem, but have a newer style. Perhaps similar in other Becker's. Video below shows examples:

I checked out Azwelke. I will be ordering one of his sheeths. I hope he starts making them for the 16. If he does I'll get one of those also.

Thanks for all the kind words :) My wife and I do this for a living, and are proud to be Bladeforum members ;)

The BK16 sheaths are available on our site.

Thank You

I had issues with my 11 sheath dulling the blade. It's seems to go away with use though. It's too bad that it doesn't hone the edge like a strop. Now that would be the cats meow.
