BK11 with a strawberry patina

I stripped the blade on this knife and blued it, but i thought " boring". So then I did a vinagar patina but didn't quite like that.I was useing the knife the other day to slice some strawberries at the campfire and thought "maybe a strawberry patina would do it for me,at least it would sound cool! So I scuffed off the blade real good and did a strawberry job on it. maybe not the greatest patina ever thrown on a Becker but I kind of like it, (for now).

That turned out really interesting. Almost looks like a 1095CV burl!

I figured out when using vinegar it's better to just submerge it for a while, and it darkens the blade evenly. Take it out and wipe it down and it looks good. Let it air dry and it looks like crap.

And the best part is you can eat your patina medium!

U need to put white and tan/brown 550 wrap on it...then u could have a Strawberry Shortcake 11!
