I am new here to Bladeforums and thought I would introduce myself a little before my first thread start...My name is Aaron and I like knives, golf, and guns...

I went to lunch today and couldn't decide between subway or taco bell......so I drove down to bladeHQ and bought another BK9 as the tie breaker...while I was there i decided to spend the 20 dollars and pick up the BK13 Remora....

My question is who has the remora? how often do you use it? and what sorts of daily tasks are you doing with it?

Thanks in advance for any responses and for what its worth after spending a couple of weeks in bladeforums I find it hard not to stay in the Becker subforum...keep up the interesting posts!!

Welcome to the Becker Forum Aaron, glad to have you posting up with us.

BK13, I mostly cut limes for my Negro Modelo's with it. :D

I got a US and Chinese made one, and to be honest, the US made one kicks the Chinese made one's ass. :D

Once again, welcome.

Howdy, Beckerland is FUNland!

Honestly...I have a 13, but I aint used it yet. IMO it is kinda too small to be really useful, yet too big to be a ''have it and forget it'' type blade. I dunno, perhaps I need to mod mine until I like it more. Meanwhile it rides piggyback on whichever big Becker I wanna carry.

Congrats on the Niner tho...can't ever have to much of the King!

Welcome. That was about the best lunch decision I've ever seen. Bar none.
I don't use mine much either, but it rides in my 9 sheath just in case. I did a flat wrap on mine.

I use it every single day around the shop, The thin profile comes in really handy and it takes a razor edge.

I use mine quite a bit for opening packages or cutting fruit. I put a 30 degree edge on it and it can literally whittle hair right now. It's a great little knife / razor.

So it seems like the knife that's always there and the quick small tasker....

I will carry it over the next week or 2 and focus on how effective it is for me and maybe do a picture review on it

They are good little knives . Like Moose I have a USA and a China made. I like the USA. An Alzwelke sheath and it's found a spot in my neck knife rotation.

I was actually coming on the forum to thank Al for the BK14 sheath that arrived today. With the new scales and an Azwelke sheath she is much more user friendly.

Thanks for sheathing both of these little Beckers Al!
