So I have seen the posts on here on the BK13 so I decided to buy one today when I was out for lunch today. Hope I like it as much as I like my BK2 and BK11.

also, nice purchase. you stashing it in your ACUs or is it gonna be a full-time edc?

No its not coated - I think its just the glare and crappy pic quality of my Blackberry camera.

Haven't decided if it will be my EDC; I am sure I will carry it on my kit somewhere.
 
Be sure to post some pictures if you mod it. I have been tempted for a while to get one. I really wish stores around here carried BKT, I am sure I would have a few more in my collection haha.

That will be my biggest issue. I got transferred to a new location and there is a retail store 5 miles from my work that carries them. The BK17 there is calling my name. My wife may divorce me before the year is over.
 
That's a good purchase. I remember someone telling me when I asked about the 13, "It's only 20 bucks, I spend more than that on lunch sometimes". By that logic, why not try a Remora out and have cup o' soup for a couple of days? :)

Hope you like it. I've never handled one, but I have wanted one for a while. It's a shame that all the bigger brothers won in the desire department!
