I have recently upgraded my BK14. Between this and my recent promotion to gold, I have decided to give away some gear for the BK14! I have a like new, double carry pocket sheath and two sets of scales that I will be handing out. I might throw a pocket strop in there somewhere as well.

The rules
- Must currently own a 14
- Must post a picture of said 14
- Must specify whether you are in for the handles or the sheath
- You may post in this GAW as many times as you like. I will be using a random number generator, so the more posts the higher the chance!
- Tell a story! Talk about your first knife or the worst knife bite you got or what got you into Becker or something! Lets keep it both PG and entertaining.
- No post minimum or membership type. If you have a 14 in need, please sign up!
- I will be selecting one winner for the pocket sheath and two winners for the scales. The 1st place will get to choose the scale color.

So, that is that! Now for the goods

So, have at! I will be ending it when I feel like, so check back often!
Oh, one more thing. Shipping will be free CONUS!

Not an entry. I don't have any Beckers, just wanted to say thanks for supporting the site and doing a giveaway.

This is going to get crazy!
My official first entry...

I have 4- 14's and a 24...
That sheath can hold 2, or a 14 and an 11!

I'm in! Been wanting to aquire or make a pocket sheath for some time now.
Thanks for the chance and congrats on goin gold!

This was my first 14 and my first Becker handle mod.
I used leather from a weight lifting belt and infused it with bees wax.
I edc'd this for a long time. The 24 has taken over my pocket carry but this one still rides in my EDC bag.

Here's my second entry!!!

Here's me teaching knife safety and dinner prep to my 2 year old hobbit lass, with the mighty 14 playing the role of teacher's aide!

She loves it, though since this photo, I've acquired a 5 and 15 that slices food just a bit better.
Start 'em young gentleman.

I'm in for the sheath. Thanks.

Sweet scale mod, NC!

Thanks Ferahgo!
I'll add another entry with my first sheath build. The 14 is a great way to practice first mods and such with its small scale...

Didn't do a WIP at the time, think I was still a lurker lol...
I wasn't keen on pocket sheaths at the time. Afterwards I realized that I wish it was set up that way.

Bk14SG...
I carried this a bit. I'm not big on serrations, but they do have their place. Once this became unavailable... Back in the box it went.

I have no issues with 1095 and corrosion and I have been using it icefishing for years. No oil or anything. Just keep em clean and dry when you put them away. This guy has accompanied me out on the ice many, many times. :)

I use sucker meat as bait and it is usually frozen. I like this knife for when I have to baton the knife through frozen bait fish with my palm. It has held up very well doing that.

This is my favorite size Mackinaw to keep for the grill/smoker. Mmmm... Smoked trout...

Of course, the bk15 also makes quick work of frozen suckers without a single complaint. No chips or rolls and it's bevel is set at 30 degrees. Tough stuff!!! I try to leave the suckers in the sun to thaw a little but some days they don't want to.

Yeah JTmg, same here. I use it daily at work...that's why I'd like a more pocket friendly sheath...
