BK14 Coating

I know there's been a recent change with the coating on Becker's from the smooth to the rough. Was looking at getting another BK14 and was just curious if this coating is being used on the BK14 as well. Wasn't sure if this change was model specific or across the board. Thanks.

I haven't seen a BK14 with a new coating hit the street yet. I just got another a few days ago as a present for a friend and it was stamped and covered with the smoother "old" coating. I know the BK11s come with the new coating so I assume the 14 will follow suit soon.

Ahhh...if the BK11 is getting the treatment then the BK14 will then for sure. Thanks for the info. Must be across the board...would make sense.
