Bk14 handles

Stared some olive wood scales for my b14 out of my wife's kitcken spoons.....!!!!

My only olive spoon is way to skinny and kinda pricey.
I got an olive branch off a local tree - it's probably big enough for a necker, but I don't think there's enough there to do my 11, 15 and 5 combo. But I've been meaning to measure it and see.

Anywhoo, nice work and a beautiful piece of wood.

Thanx guys...not done yet and surely not easy when all you have is hand tool.i m sure they won't be perfect but i made them and have fun with it....my wife SHOULD NEVER know about this...

Since the wife isn't back,i decided to go after the second spoon....i don t like the grain as much as the first but they fit the bk14 much better...got to get some round top screws but that ll be tomorrow

Looks good but I think you should've went all the way down the handle with the wood as the 14 doesn't have the biggest handle IMO. Good job!

Portman...i hear you and will have to disagree...i have small hands and can slip my pinky to the hole and have a great grip for let say feathersticks and small jobs....pic to come

Fair enough. After all its custom for you. I've just experienced on a relaxed grip the end of my hand is kinda hangin off. The extra grip would help me. But if it works for you and looks good, that's all that matters.
