So I have my black scales on my BK14...I was looking at my orange scales and was wondering if it was logistical to shave down the scales to make liners for it? Anyone try this or think about trying it?

Ooh, it could be done. I'd just cut up some old dvd cases though. I'll take your orange scales if you ain't digging them though.

Beat me to it, lol. I need to figure out where the Never Summer warehouse gets their plastic. I got a tour of their manufacturing process and all I could think is, "I wonder if I could ask them if they would give me scraps of this stuff." They had a plastic 100% perfect for liners and a plethora of carbon fiber I could use.

Like Murph said, DVD cases rock.

imagine orange scales with this bright green as liners though

I made scale liners for my esky w/ the ESEE micarta on them. I took the liner pieces off, and made scales out of a yogurt container. I didn't want anything too thick. I would take a picture, but I screwed them up so I need to make new ones.

I made orange liners from a home depot bucket lid. Green from castrol oil jug. Liner material everywhere you look.
