Bk14 sheath question

I know the newest version of the sheath contains less glass which was the main cause of the dulling issue. I own several BK14's and the two most recent ones it seems to be a non issue now. I always take care when I draw the knife though to do so slowly and keep the spine pushed towards the back of the sheath. Seems ok now, but results may vary. Aftermarket sheaths are out there if it's a big concern.
 
Yes it does I called and spoke to ka bar yesterday, I was told the only sheath that had less glass was the bk2 and that the no other sheath including the 14 had any changes. I like azwelke kydex very good work
 
That Kabar has not fixed this issue is annoying

Any suggestions for less expensive leather sheaths?

Do most people still find the need to replace the factory BK14 sheath? If so do most find they like the AZ sheath for the factory handles or without?
