BK14 Sheath Setup

Just thought I'd show you all the setup I put together for going out hunting or hiking here in kentucky.
I have my Fighting Knife, stamped USN, attached is the BK14. Got about 10 ft of paracord and a small firesteel wrapped around the whole thing. Works great for trips into the woods. Thanks for looking!

Today I discovered one of my big locking biners fits in the belt loop of that sheath perfect, so I can just snap it on style. Will post a pic when I get home.

Here's what I did. And the OP gave me the idea....I have a Mora 511 kydex bushcrafter sheath made by M. Poff (got it in 4 months!!). I think I'm going to cannibalize it and try and take the firesteel loop off and mate it to the MKI sheath. If successful, will post pics.

Wow, you got a Poff sheath? I sent off a request to him months ago, before I knew about his reputation. He never contacted me at all, thank goodness.
