BK14 & Tek-Lok?

Hi guys,

Just a quick question here. Has anyone rigged their BK14 with a Tek-Lok? If so, what size did you use. I've seen lots of people using the TDI belt clip, and while it looks bad ass, it doesn't seem an adequate method for horizontal carry? I also wouldn't be carrying it around my neck as, living in a tropical country, clothes I wear are light so even if it was under my shirt it wouldn't be very concealed for an EDC.

Post pictures if you have! :)

I just tried to put my large Tek Lok on the original BK14 sheath and it'll only align with one screw, not 2.

Okay then. SO I won't be going for the large one. Hopefully one of the other sizes will fit better.
Thanks a lot, LECTER. :)

Sure thing bro! Wait til someone with a smaller version shows up before ordering it though!

This is a large tek-lok on a bk11 sheath.
I drilled 2 holes for the tek-lok.

I think you are correct sir.
Only 2 for the tek-lok, one for crossdraw( not very comfortable).

Just funnin' with you bro! ;)

You're lucky to have gotten the new sheath with your 11, my 14 came with the tanto one which is garbage!

I'm good now thanks to Azwelke though, he makes damned good sheaths and I think the Tek Lok fits without drilling.

I've never tried this, but I think I recall reading something about the holes on the BK14 sheath not being the right size or something like that, but anyways...I would just suggest getting a custom kydex sheath. Myself, I think I'm going to be talking to Azwelke very soon about getting me one for my Esky for horizontal carry. I actually have the TDI clip on the stock sheath now, and I EDC it, but I think I'd like the horizontal carry better.

The holes don't line up.

I use a small TekLok on my 14, attached through just one hole, and for me, it works quite well, as I can carry it horizontally in the small of my back (if I tighten the screw down hard, it doesn't move around much, and it allows me to cant it at angle a bit if I want to move it to crossdraw. I will probably drill out a 2nd hole one of these days though, honestly.

That sounds good to me. So it looks like either a large or a small one will fit with a little drilling. It doesn't seem like such a hard mod. Hahaha. Maybe a medium one would fit just right in that case? Hmm...

Oh, I forgot to ask, osodavis. Do you wear yours in horizontal carry, vertical carry, or both? :)
