Got 'em in this morning...slapped 'em on....carried it all day, LOVE the Zytel! just made a great knife 100% more badassery! After a lil carry/fondling all day, decided they needed a lil Thrillin' so I added some stipple-luv. Much grippier now.

I will be sending your package out tomorrow if the cricks dont rise
Do ya want me to put some soldering-iron work on your set too or do ya want them pristine? Your call, I'm happy either way.

how did you put the gun-blue on to get that pattern? looks awesome. i think i want to try and make one of my becker's look like that.

Looks good homie. Looks almost too purty to cut something!

nonsense. Ive used it more then any of my Beckers since it's a part-time EDC blade. Cut a couch up with it couple weeks ago LOL sliced that heavy fabric like it was buttah, even batoned some of the frame up LOL

good blade to carry to advertise BK&T. This 14 was handled and admired by 2 clerks & one customer at a gunshop, the sales associate at HD, and the 2 counterguys at radioshack just counting today. Every gunshop, outdoor-store, feed store, heck any store that carries blades...I show them some Becker goodness and inform them they need to stock BK&T.

Noice! very noice I say. I love how everyone over here seems to put their own spin on the knives. congrats on a job well done

Hey stud, thanks for the offer, I prefer to defile them myself. Mostly I wanna try them out as they come from the factory. thanks for the offer though.

Very nice, Thrillbilly. That's pretty much the same mods I'm going to do to my 14. Got an AZWelke sheath on order right now.

Now, if my zytel scales will just show up, I could get to modding.

judging by ur awesome wood-scales ya make...I figgered you'd wanna have the fun of modding 'em urself ;)

What is that rubber band thing on the sheath and what is it for????

thats what they call a ''Ranger Band''.

It's really just bicycle inner-tube, cut into whatever length you want.

It's used to stow things on ur sheath, u can tuck firesteels, flashlights, Bics, etc etc under there. I had it on for Grip, I carry in my pocket, the rubber makes it snag in so I can draw it easier, and prevents it from slipping out accidentally.

Ranger Bands are great, basically a free piece of gear with many many uses. Can be slipped on knife handles for grip, thin-cut pieces make great ''Super''-rubberbands. I use them to hold my altoid tins closed. Also makes decent firestarter in an emergency.

yeah. Not easily. Takes a few minutes of struggling. I think my current 'band stash came from a larger Mtn. Bike tube.
