I don't want to turn this into a commercial for Kit Bags, but as the word gets out about 'em, more guys are buying them. In case anyone is wondering, the BK 16 and 17 will fit inside a Kit Bag with plenty of room to spare. In fact they'll fit in any of the three compartments, though I plan to carry mine in the front or middle one, as the rear one carries my pistol. Here's a photo for a size reference.

This doesn't quite make an EDC setup, but for the times that I'm backpacking, hunting, fishing, riding Mtn. Bike or Dual-Sport MC, I'll carry my BKs in a Kit Bag.

I forgot to mention that I still need some new sheaths before doing so. The factory molle sheaths will fit, but they're bulky for that application.

The best in bag carry is kydex. I dont remember the name i think its azlowe he's from the forums and make some good work.

I think you could remove the liner from the stock sheath and use it in the bag.

I'd want totally positive retention on a hard sheath to prevent falling onto a live blade in an... energetic moment.

Me too.................even if I usually suffer from a lack of energetic moments............:D
