bk16 and 17 questions.

I have the BK 16 and 17 I was just wondering if the coating is also underneath the scales and also is it just me or does the BK17 feel heavier that the bk16. Just wondering if you guys had that thought also. Thank

Get an Allen wrench and check it out!! Lol. But yea man, it's under the scales too. Unless you got it used and some wise ass stripped just under the scales. Haha.

And the bk-17 is a saber grind blade so the top on the blade is thicker so it does have more metal. Even tho they clip it, it still may weigh a hair more. Or it could also be the way the blade is balanced, it may just feel heavier.

If I had a scale, I'd way mine. Maybe someone else will have one and can so it.
