Many thanks CM_Rick. I've got the BK16 on the way. Actually it's made a stop in Jacksonville to have a sheath made for it so I should have it in a week or so. I've also got an EESE 3 but not the 4 and was just curious able the two.
Thanks again
I find it odd that in the first quoted photo, the scales look similar in length, but the next one they look Much shorter.
How are they in hand? Is the lack of handle length noticeable?
I have a 15 and love the handle size/shape, so I would skip the esee for a 16. Regardless, I was asking out of curiosity, not as a potential buyer.
The esee has a very noticeable, short handle. If you have large hands it's even worse. Jeff & Mike adore choils, so naturally a person who enjoys choking up onto the blade, for fine tasks, will design a more, subdued, sleeker handle that's not meant for the whole hand. The choils NEED to be used on esee's.
