Well I am a stone throw away from giving a BK16 a second chance. One thing that always bothered me was the middle screw on the handle scales iritated me how it was sucked in. I love how Dales G10 scales for the larger Beckers takes that out and was wondering if anyone makes scales that take care of the middle screw for the tweeners.

Thanks in advance guys.

I never really had a problem with the middle screw on any of my Beckers but when I make scales myself I do tend to forgo the middle hole...Sorry they're not tweener scales but I hope it still gets the point across.

fill the holes with colored epoxy? (put a piece of tape on the back to keep from making it a permanent part of the knife)

We are in the process of developing handles for the "Tweener" series and the fasteners will be basically the same setup as the handles for the BK2.

Thanks!

The middle hole doesn't bother me, but mycarta scales would have been quite a bit quicker and easier to make if I didn't put 'em in.
I thought I saw some wooden ones with only 2 holes, but can't find 'em anywhere right now. Fal'er, perhaps.
TKC's G10 sounds like an awesome way to go.

Or just send the 16 to me. I'll find something to do with it...

I can make wood scales with no middle hole, any thickness you desire. Factory scale halves are .3216 at the thickest. Add any amount.
