BK16 in D2

I don't think they will,
I don't think there is any advantages in D2
but a BK16 D2 Extreme would be pretty bad ass

Lets get the carbon steel ones out the door for a year, before we start working on special runs.

there's no advantage in D2 imho...

doesn't mean it couldn't happen someday.

course, i'd vote for some OTHER good steel first. perhaps a true exotic? sprint run. would have to sell well though, before they'd consider it.

Agreed. D2 has much lower potential toughness than 1095CV. That means it is more brittle. Kind of a lousy trade-off for a Becker. Now in A2.... That would be something. :D

I don't understand... I only see "111111111" for the OP's comment or question.

I like D2 steel in a small knife. The need for toughness is very small since you will be doing slicing and carving with them rather than chopping or prying. D2 steel really excels in the edge retention!
