This week I took my dog for a walk in our local park and played with the 16 and made a fire stick or two. I also made a Try stick and it seemed to go pretty well.

However, the cool part was when I used it to help with some mushrooms to be sautéed for some grilled pork chops. It surely sliced much better than I thought it would. Much impressed!

Great blade, I would have to say it's fast becoming my favourite. It's the perfect size, super sharp and great in hand, as you know. I just picked up some awesome tommythewho wood handles for mine.

I really like the look of the elusive saber ground 16's, but the full flat grind makes the blade nice and thin by the edge and gives outstanding cutting geometry. Glad you got some use with yours. Also, nice liners!

Thanks! They weren't too hard to make just took a bit of time and patience getting everything right.

It makes me happy to see you using and enjoying your Sixteen....... Thanks for sharing and thanks for the pix.......I appreciate your business......

I think the 16 is the best knife around in it's size class, had one since they came out and have a few spares for backup now. Everything about it just works, size and handle ergos rock, plus the price is great also !!! Now, get a 9 if you don't have one already and you'll be GTG for nearly anything that needs a blade .

The BK-16 is one of my very favorite production knives ever made. The thing just plain works... very comfortable to use, very tough and as you noticed, very slicy as well. :)

i've used a stock one until it's dull...

i'm going to thin it out a little bit, not quite scandi, but thinnish

it will be a monster

What did you make the liners out of?

My wife picked up some cutting boards from Target. They, seemed about the right width. I traced the handles, cut them out, and then got silver Hardwear to cut down to the right length. After they were installed, I took an utility knife and cleaned up the leftover.

Hope that helps!

My pleasure. Thank you for making a quality product we can have as part of our daily lives!
