Hi there,


We have a BK16 FFG tan pancake kydex sheath up for grabs :) As usual show your BK16 in need for a chance to win. Fall or Halloween pics score extra points;) This one fits factory handles on FFG models only. We will run this until Monday, NOV. 7th 2016 noon, AZ time.

I am but a poor college student, and I am in need of a good sheath for my BK16.

I've tried paper, it works if I don't move around, but it slips out easily and I keep stabbing my leg when I have it in my pocket, and when it gets wets it disintegrates and I'm without a sheath.



I also tried packing tape, it stays on better but I have to destroy the sheath to use the knife, so even less useful than paper. plus it leaves residue all over the blade, which is no good for food usage.



Finally I've tried an empty pen box, it has retention and I can even flip it upside down without the knife falling out, but it rattles terribly and takes up way too much space in my pocket, plus it can die if it gets wet too, so no good for camping.



I also am in luck because when I bought the knife it happened to come with a bonus set of tan scales, which match that tan sheath perfectly. I would be most pleased if I managed to acquire that sheath, it's a very generous offer indeed.



Bonus Halloween decorations in our warehouse, a gaylord-sized demon box jack-o-lantern, slain by a horde of shredded-pallet projectiles. (BK16 for scale)

Thanks for the chance at a great GAW, especially with all the great photos.

With the nice weather, used the 16 to clear the remaining plants in the garden.

Then the family and I went for a hike. Spent some time by the water, behind the wife as she can't see I'm taking more photos of knives.

Rare teenager sighting, still connected while we're enjoying the great outdoors. Even rarer sighting of mommy bear.

And of course the photo which woke up the bear to begin with.

If I'm lucky enough, I'll be switching these scales back to the 15.

Pardon the decidedly unglamorous photo.

Just finished splitting about 1/2 cord with my son, and then having ourselves a nice campfire with some of the mis-matched, non-fitting pieces.

Here's the 16 on my cruddy utility room floor, parked next to one of my favorite and handiest splitters.

Believe it or not, I've never owned a kydex sheath before. I'd love to have the chance to try one out. Thank you very much sir for this generous chance :).

Whoa!

Thank you very much sir. I'll make sure to put it to good use, as the BK16 is one of my favorites, and the stock sheath just feels so large for it (partially... because its also designed for the BK15). So this will be an excellent replacement :thumbup:.
