Well here it is and boy do I like it!! Not too big and not too small - it is a "Tweener" after all....

Think this is one I will use - it just feels good. Already opened the mail with it. :-)

Enjoy!

I know what you mean about the size. And that's why I wanted the sabre version for my user. Its small yet big and the extra metal behind the grind makes it feel like a work horse.

Good stuff Colonel! Got any mods in store?

Probably not Murph - my "modding skills" are modest (no pun intended) and I really like the knife just the way it is. Also, the etching or engraving may be in the coating itself and if I were to strip it maybe I would lose it all? Anybody know for sure?

Also, for the same reason I will not baton with it but surely will use it for gentler tasks.

Only negative - not sure I really like the brown grips that were included so the knife will stay "stock" for now at least.

Yes sir the engraving is in the knife itself. Check out my bk16 mod thread and you can still see it

Looking at the words "First Production Run," they couldn't move the text half an "F" over to the right? so it didn't run off on the bevel?

Check out Clich's mod thread, it'll ease your mind about the stripping/etching.

I understand about leaving her stock though. Probably what I'll do to the first couple.

The Sheaths on the tweeners are really top notch.
I might have to start a thread asking for all Beckers to have these ..lol I am really impressed with the knife, but everyone has already said that.
The sheaths though in my opinion are not getting enough mention. Very very well done across the board.

Yeah it is messing with my OCD a bit, anyone know if the etching was done by Ka-bar or SMKW?

I'm not the only person who thought it man... but by all means, I'll take you up on your offer!

I could be bribed with a tweener maybe. You have a wife, doesn't that mean it's her responsibility?

Col., you gonna make this your daily carry for awhile?

Finally, someone who understands the unfortunate power of OCDs... It's not something I can help, it annoys the ever living shit out of me sometimes...
