BK16 Liners & Leather vs. Kydex question????

Just arrived today from the Busse custom shop and I am stoked. Now I have to decide if I want kydex or leather pants. The extra weight and girth of the new slabs really changed the balance. This feels great in the hand. Fit and finish are awesome. Garth NAILED IT all from a sketch. I plan on using her on my fishing trip to Big Shore in 2 weeks. I have it against my BK16 for scale and am amazed at how similar the two are in shape and size. Now I want to make the BK16 the same girth as the CABS. Is anyone making Liners for the tweeners?

Next question Kydex or leather for the two. I am considering new pants for the BK16 and this CABS. If I go leather then I can have one sheath and use it for both models. Kydex will require 2 sheaths and both will cost about what a custom leather job will. Opinions on 1 sheath for multiple knives vs. 2 seperate specific sheaths is appreciated. If I do go leather, it will be the design I submitted to Skystorms thread.

I'd like to put those Busse scales on my BK16.

I have a Godspeed! BK16 Taco kydex sheath review going up later tonight....Top shelf stuff at a middle shelf price.

If you get liners make sure they're G-10, those vulcanised plastic ones are just paper, cut a piece of it and put it in some water...It just peels appart.
 
Skystorm, I'll see if I can find a similar design photo on the sheath as I am leaning towards leather. I just thought the orange handle is out of place with the leather. I was also thinking of picking up some acrylic and trying to make liners from that. Stuff is indestructible and would be easy to mold.
