In my pics thread for the BK17 I said I wanted to do a proper review of the BK17, but I have been really busy, and that probably won't change for the next month or so. Because of that, I'm going to put up my BK17 for a passaround.

Participants:

^^^please confirm you all still want to participate...

All I ask is that you post lots of photos, use the knife for whatever you want (in reason :D)... bushcraft, carving, battonning, etc... basically see my BK2 abuse threads for what NOT to do :D Also, please try your best to get your review up within a week or so(but you can take a little longer if necessary) after recieving the blade before sending it to the next person.

ok cool, sounds good. I can try to put it in order of location if I can. Cobra and I are both in Virginia so he'll be the first to get it, otherwise I can change the order if necessary.
 
I'm out but really cool of you to do this. I will be the first to volunteer for the lynch mob though if someone absconds with it.

Like I said, I think I'll purchase the two I've been on the fence about as "temporary" tweeners (MK1 and Condor Bushlore) just to make a sweet comparison review that is deserving enough to be on a preproduction passaround thread.

And from the sound of things I'll likely be the last one to get it (farthest away).
 
Thanks for the interest, the 4 participants asked in another thread to be part of the passaround so I will let them have the first opportunities. If they decide otherwise I may consider adding others to the passaround. I'm not trying to exclude people from this, but I'm not trying to be apart from this awesome blade for too long either :D

haha appreciate it, I will definitely be upset if someone does that but the Becker community seems pretty awesome so that hopefully won't happen :D

Agreed with everything that was just posted. ESPECIALLY if someone walks off with it before I get a chance to play with it :p.

OK, this is looking good... Hopefully I can ship the BK17 out tomorrow to Cobra and we can get this passaround started, and you guys can see the 17 in action... :thumbup:
