BK17 Questions ....

I just traded for a nice BK17 first production run with Ethans autograph on the blade. Tan handles & sheath. My question is what do you guys carry inside the little sheath pocket ? Post some pics & give me some ideas.

I don't have a tweener, but I do have a BK4. I carry a pocket stone in my sheath pocket so I can touch up in the field.

My daughter carries a Gerber Multi-Tool, a small Altoids tin fire kit and a Light My Fire small ferro rod. Fit perfect. No pic because I'm being lazy today.

It differs. In the pouch on my BK16 sheath I tend to carry a sharpening stone OR a Victorinox Farmer. In the sheath of my 15 or other 16 I tend to carry nothing.

Mini fire kit in mine:

Mini bic, small baggie of fatwood shavings, 1/2 dozen fire straws, and some jute twine. Also added a birthday candle. Everything fits nicely into that excel mints tin, which fits perfectly into the mini pocket.

Fire steel goes into a loop I stitched onto the side, and the mini sharpening stone goes under the molle strap on the back.

I'm thinking a small fire kit of some type...Bic lighter, matches, small firesteel & some jute twine & cotton balls but to find a container to fit the pouch& the material will be my next challenge !
