I have had this BK17for two years and lately decided to slightly modify it.

:thumbup: It looks like a mini BK7... I have both the 7 and 17, and I like this mod!
 
Thanks fellow Becker enthusiasts. I used Brownell's Alumahyde 2 which I let cure for one week in a warm place. At some future date I will recoat with Duracoat.
 
I can't seem to find that part in your post where you said you were going to send it to me now. As always, fine job!

Spent the day making walnut blocks for the BK11 and 16 scales and recontouring the grivory BK17 scales rather than making new ones. Maybe I will take the roughed out micarta blanks I made and use them at a later date. Scales for the BK14 were cut out and one is complete. Pics tomorrow.
The 17 was not meant to be an all out customized knife.
