I just got my it today and from Chestnut.I was happy
with the fit and finish. This is a mesquite root i'm making into
a walking stick. This is some very hard wood.
The BK2 perfomed very well debarking.I touched it up
with a smiths pocket pal after i used it.This knife will not
disapoint. Thanks Ethan for a great blade!

From an Arizona native, welcome. I sure miss Arizona and it is nice to see posts from someone still enjoying my old stomping grounds. Take your BK2 up to Mt. Lemon and take a pic!

Hey Threebit.....

Glad you are enjoying your BK-2....That mesquite IS some darn tough stuff....Never have carved it but got a lot of respect for it harvesting firewood.......

Again, welcome and thanks for the kind words.....

All Best....

I will try to get up to mt lemon that is a good chopping zone.
Mesquite is my main wood and it does burn quite hot.I love
cooking with it.
Good eye for the guns 85.
Thanks you guys for checkin out my pics and the
warm welcome!
