So I have been checking all the beautiful etching jobs out on here and decided to give it a go. I procured a BK-14 Eskabar and a BK-2 to experiment on.

I bought the Aircraft Remover in liquid form, soaked em for 20 min, and re-applied twice. I learned that if you don't remove the coating before you wash it off (its neutralized by water) the coating somewhat readhears itself. and get you some chemicaly resistant gloves. Latex gloves (think latex paint) disolve quicker than the paint does!

So after the aircraft remover was removed with water, i sanded with 600 grit to get the semi parkerizing off of the metal from the aircraft remover. I got the metal all shinny and removed some of the grinding marks from the factory (the black coating really hides alot).

I blued the eskabar all over and the BK-2 on the blade with cotton balls (clich).
