BK2 as EDC?

I am sure this has been covered, but I am new to the becker forum. I have my first becker(bk2) on its way. I was curious how many of you edc your bk2(or anything bigger). I always carry my izula 2, and I know plenty of guys carry an RC-3, but what about the bk2? I have no reson to edc my becker when it comes, but I'm just curious. And if you do pics please :D

Ive edc-ed a bk2, a bk10, and most currently a bk5. I keep em in my edc pack (a 5.11 Rush 12) in the hydration pocket that i dont use since i also carry a nalgene. Actually, shortly i have a new sheath setup coming for the bk2 that is pretty mind blowing and ill be back to edcing the bk2 again. Thats if i can bring myself to leave the bk5 behind.

I use to EDC my BK2 scout carry, but now I pack my BK5 EDC.

Check your local and state laws before you carry.

It's a bit thick for that for my taste (and a bit big for my state).
If I were a professional outdoorsman or something it would be a different story.

I don't think I'd carry one every day. I just don't have enough use for it. My little leatherman suits me well. I use the pliers more than the knife.

off topic: Clich do you think you're going to get the moab 10? I've been pondering back and fourth for my rush 24. It's a pretty heavy bag as is.

Way too heavy to EDC for my tastes. Although if it weren't illegal and all, I'd be tempted to carry it mercharness style.

I LOVE the 12. Its perfect to me. I won't be getting another pack for a long time

as much as I use a knife I really don't have a need for an EDC blade bigger than 3-4". any time I go off the beaten path the BK2 is with me though.

If you can Flexxx carry, I think you're good to go.

I carry my BK14 and my Ka-Bar Fin most every day, and possibly my Leatherman Wave also. Maybe you could get a sheath like Crocodile Dundee had and carry it on your back under a jacket? Actually that might work better with a BK9.

I'd love to lead the sort of life that would accommodate EDC of a BK2. When it's hunting season, I practically EDC a BK9 but I do computer crap for a living. EDCing a BK2 to the office just isn't likely to happen.

I suppose it depends on environment and if you need a tough fixed blade all the time. Otherwise its overkill. Check out the BK11/14 or the upcoming tweeners.

I actually find scout carrying a BK2 pretty comfortable, and like GingivitisKahn I wish I was cool enough to need to carry one every day. I also work computers, so I don't think that would necessarily work out well.

I usually carry a *gasp* Gerber Paraframe, although I just got a Boker Exskelimoor II and think that will be getting most of my carry time from here on out.
