Ordered a new box for the BK2 with some changes to the design. It isn't painted yet, so it is very white (except for the parts where I sanded it with old sandpaper, so it got kinda dirty, so there it is kinda dingy looking).

They have a video of a sphere printed in this same material, their "white strong and flexible" (bow chicka bow wow) at a thickness of one millimeter I believe. They use it as a bouncy ball on tile floors without any issues.

This is, at the thinnest, 2.5mm, but most places it is 3-3.5mm.

Last week I dropped my setup from about 4 feet directly onto the box. It landed on a fiskars hatchet and didn't do any damage.

Strong enough I would say, although if I were to make additional ones (not promising I will but IF I DID [they would only be available to Beckerheads so get your numbers people!]) I would use a similar high impact resin, possibly glass reinforced.

I had some straps with heavy duty snaps, but I couldn't stand em. The velcro has worked very, very well though, and since there are indentations on the bottom for the screws that come through for the other stuff, it doesn't slide around or anything and sits on there very tight.

I might whip up a pair of straps with the industrial velcro stuff (that doesn't look like regular velcro) but that may be a ways off.
 
Where did you get that ? Looks great. It can hold lots of cool stuff. I will include one fishing kit and 2 or 3 water purification tablets
 
Alright people, let's go ahead and nip this in the bud. I am not taking orders, nor is this a sign up thread, nor is this anything other than me showing off the newest box I had at that time. That is it. Would I like to see others be able to get their hands on these? Certainly. But there is a plan, and it has to play out before that can even become a remote possibility. Until then, well, everyone will just have to be patient.
