Inner tube grip, lanyard, magnesium bar/steel, usable belt sheath. (no more flopping around when unbuckled)

VERY nice application of "technology", cccpull. I love the sheath loop adjustment.

I can only imagine what you'd do if you saw my stash of inner tubes...
Hahaha, I should post a pic. :-)

I didn't have inner tubes, so i tried 3" tac ties(maxpedition), and it works great. i can finally unsheath it w/ one hand.

it's great improvement over unsnapping and then searching for where the knife went(parallel to ground).

thanks again for the great idea.

This is end of the world, Mad Max style, technology. It's me, a BK2, and all the inner tubes you'll ever need.:D

Everybody is not as prepared as Daizee and me . No inner tubes?

Seriously, If I had those tac ties I would have used them, they most likely look better. What I had were velcro bundle straps which I covered with inner tube (since I already had the magnesium bar attached that way) it maintained what I like to call the "Butyl Rubber Motiff". It's all about style.:barf:

But it does work well.:)

A friend of mine has a bicycle shop.
A few years back we asked him to save his junk tubes for us for projects instead of trashing them (apparently it's no longer cost-effective to recycle them).

There are even a couple 18" motorcycle tubes from when I put new shoes on my cb350.
All those tubes there are raw materials - new ones live in their boxes. The tires are a mix of usable and junk - cutting up junk bicycle tires is fun too.
