Bk2 Excitement... photo heavy.

Guyon's Bk2 contest has gotten me all hot and bothered. I Think there are people who stand a better chance than I do. But the words of a forum member ( whether you think you can or can't .. you're right.) spurred me to enter. Now the thought winning a new BK2 for modding. Without the 80+ dollar cost of a knife is an amazing chance. Because staying home to take care of my little guy with downs. Is cheaper than picking up an 8$ an hr. part time gig. And paying a daycare to hopefully take care of him properly. But leaves me with moths in my pocket.

I obviously have done some work already, but I'm excited to do more. My start point.



 
Started squaring and cleaning the spine. Then moved to the sides. That file is almost tough enough to make Bk flinch lol. Extra grinding gear just in case I need it. remerber to keep it safe. Further progress on the sides.
 
Those little pits are a bit**. Oh well not not going for perfect here. I ain't got the tools for it.
Used my dremmel with circular 500grit disk to clean it up. still needs work. Used to look much like my 7. Not now. A better angle here. Still marks though.
 
Starting to feel a little full circle here. Looking sweeter here. Stands on its spine to. Cruve ball I know. But I'm debating if I should do the same patina on my 2. I couldn't really capture the deep grey on cam. but its nice. but I want to do a blue too. Mods mods mods. too many and not enough money or knives. What do you guys think???
 
Fyi I already sent Guyon a message asking him not to read my post. But to have another mod check it out. Just so no one starts crying that I'm pulling a guilt card or some crap.
