This past weekend, a buddy of mine made me a sweet new sheath for my BK2. The stock sheath is fine and does it's job exactly as intended but look at this sweet frigger. J D Kyhide has made a number of holsters and sheaths for me and I'm really digging this one.

Looking forward to getting it out and getting it dirty. :P

Actually, I carry that (or my BK16 or my BK9, etc.) crossdraw. They all ride great there or would if not for my belly - heh.

Skinned any bunnies with it lately? Good to see you poking back around Gingi. That's a slick setup there.

It's been a while since I've seen a bunny to skin. Dang coyotes are looking sleek and well-fed though. Wonder if there's a correlation? Hope to get out after some squirrels again next week while the local deer settle down after gun week. I've done squirrel before w/ the BK9 but not the BK2. Hrm - might have to work to correct that. :D

If he was going to skin a rabbit with that knife, it would probably need to be a big Cane Cutter.;)

Lol - USUALLY, I'd use my BK11 or a SAK but every once in a while, it's good to see what you can do with the wrong knife. Cleaning the squirrels (field dressing, skinning, butchering) with the BK9 ended up being a fair bit simpler than I expected but you do have to choke waaaaay up on the blade. :D

I can understand that, since sometimes you have to use whatever you have with you. You should loan me your BK9 so I can try using it for a steak knife.;)
I know the color isn't that close, but it reminds me of the burnt orange on the old Chevys.
