This thing came crazy hair shaving sharp which surprised me. Grind angles aren't the prettiest but that won't be an issue to fix. Already bought a tek lok to fix the belt loop issue. Can't wait to test this thing out in the woods!

Didn't seem as heavy as everybody says it does. I guess I'm just used to heavy construction tools...

Thanks for all the guidance on the blade choice! From everything I've seen so far, I don't think I'll be disappointed!

Congrats. Its always a good day when you are greeted with a package of 1095 goodness :D

Congrats man. That was my first Becker knife. I have 3 BK2's now, haha.

It's an amazing knife that is like Thor's hammer. It punches well above its own weight, but at the same time can do the delicate stuff.

Same here. I'm use to a tool belt. Yeah, I get it, its heavier than most knives its size and a bunch of others. I don't find it to be a burden or exhausting.

Hah! Same here! True story...

Congrats on your new steel!
Keep us posted on your adventures with it!

I think a lot of the reason it doesn't feel very heavy is because of its balance. It doesn't feel unwieldy.

And I will definitely keep posting my adventures with my beckers!

I'm interested in getting some stainless steel hardware for the handle scales on my bk2. Where would be the best place to look?

Oh the power you feel the first time you hold one; and the others after, but that first one....yeah...yeah....yeah.......

I'd suggest contacting Dexwithers at coyleoutdoors. Not only does he offer stainless hardware he also offers some other tasty bits for all things Becker. And as a bonus he is a great guy to work with.

Got the tek lok installed making it fairly edc able. Just love the looks on people's faces when I hand it too them.

Congrats. Nothing beats wrapping your hand around a BK2. You have to hold it to really understand it.

Haven't had a chance to use the 2 out of the house yet. Used it for some food prep, that's about it. In the process of moving and fixing up an old house so I hope to have a little free time in the woods to test it out this weekend.
