BK2 handles?

Hey everyone new here and I have been eying up the BK2. I keep seeing pictures of BK2’s with wooden handles is this a custom thing or can they be bought somewhere like that?

The Micarta handles are the only ones available to purchase that I know of, the rest are custom.
 
if you search the forums you can find guys on here that do that work

I have sent some wood scales off to a guy last week to give me some nice Bocote wood scales and firesteel handle
 
There is an online dealer that sells them with micarta and kydex. Links are forbidden but it rhymes with ' bestnut fridge knife shop ' Work it out ; )

The rules for that are pretty weird in general. You also cannot post a link to anything in the trade thread that is posted by someone that is not a paying member. I thought at that point that since there was no price (guy was looking for trade and hadn't posted anything about trade value or anything) and since it was a BK1 and relevant to our sub-forum that it would be cool. I was wrong.

Pretty much just decided to forgo posting links of any kind around here cause of it.
