BK2 in an ESEE 5 sheath?

Does the BK2, second gen, fit in the molded ESEE 5 sheath? I recently purchased the molle back and pouch for the BK2 because I heard they fit the sheath, but the pouch does not. If I need to get the ESEE 5 sheath, I will, but if I have to buy an ESEE 5 doing it, I will not... Kind of negates the point of having such a great blade for such a low price (the BK2, that is) if I am just going to have to buy one 3x as much.

Just from looking at photos of the sheaths, and comparing the handle shapes of both, I would assume that the BK-2 would not fit in the ESEE-5 sheath. I don't have them hands on, so I can't be sure, but from the looks of it, I would say no.

According to Mike Perrin, co-owner of ESEE, it will not. I might fit in the older style ESEE cordura sheath, but not the new molded kydex sheath. Moose

I think I am just going to rig up a simple paracord wrap for the bottom two screw holes and be done with, no reason I can't make the pouch work with a little effort.
